This data protection declaration applies to the Carl Walther GmbH website. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. At this point we would therefore like to inform you about data protection in our company.

Carl Walther GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we store which data and how we use it. 1. General Information

When you visit our website and each time you access a file, our web server or the page provider collects and stores protocol collation information and stores it as "server log files" (e.g. date and time of access, URL of the referring website, file accessed, amount of data sent, browser type and version, operating system and your IP address). 4. Personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to obtain personal or factual information about you (e.g. name, address, telephone number, date of birth or e-mail address). On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us by e-mail and/or via a contact form. We would like to help you to reach the right contact person as quickly as possible. Your personal data entered in the contact form (mandatory fields: Title, first name, surname, customer type (end consumer, dealer, authority/public institution), country, e-mail), your message and any other information you provide voluntarily will only be sent to us, stored and processed as encrypted e-mail for the intended purpose of processing your contact.

6. Registration for the newsletter

On our website we offer you the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. With this newsletter we inform in regular intervals about our offers.

(For newsletter distribution we work together with the company MailChimp. In accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO, we have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which obliges MailChimp to process the personal data only in accordance with our instructions. MailChimp is also certified under the EU/Switzerland-US-Privacy-Shield and thus offers the guarantee of data protection. In order to receive our newsletter, we need a valid e-mail address. If you would like to be contacted personally, you have the option of entering your first and last name. We will check the e-mail address you have entered to make sure that you are actually the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner is authorized to receive the newsletter. For this purpose we will send you a confirmation e-mail (double opt-in).

In the event that a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge, this serves as a safeguard on our part. We do not collect any further data. 7. Order request sport weapons configurator, bargain market and test weapons service

You have the possibility to generate and send an order request via our sports weapons configurator, our bargain market and our test weapons service. Since we as an arms manufacturer do not sell and deliver directly to end users, all orders are executed through an arms dealer of your choice. Based on your entries in the order form (postcode), we automatically determine the nearest wafer dealer for you. You also have the option of having the order executed by another participating arms dealer. Here you can select your dealer via the alternative dealer search.

In order to place orders via this offer, each customer must enter the following personal data: Title, e-mail, first name, last name, address, country, birthday.

Here you also have the opportunity to register for our German or English newsletter.After the order process you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you provided.

8. Request a repair certificate

You can request a repair certificate on our website. This is absolutely necessary for a quick and correct repair before sending it in to Walther. You have the possibility to fill out the online form, which will be sent to Walther by e-mail.

For this purpose, each customer must enter the following personal data: Title e-mail, first name, surname, address, country, telephone, choice of authorization. You must also specify the product model and your error description.

We do not collect any further data. The data collected in this way is sent by encrypted e-mail and stored in our internal database. After a check, your request will be sent in encrypted form to the arms dealer you have selected, so that they can process your order request. The data collected in this way will be processed exclusively for processing your repair request.

You will immediately receive a repair certificate by e-mail. Please print it out, enclose it with your repair and send it to our repair department. You will then be informed of the progress of your repair by e-mail.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site does not take place either. Your data will not be stored or used for advertising purposes.

9. Use of cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific information related to the user on the user's terminal device while using the website. 15. YouTube

On our website we use components (videos) from YouTube, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Irland.
We use the option" - extended data protection mode -" provided by YouTube.
